Abstract:Objective:To observe the influence of ionizibg radiation on the F-actin in vascular endothelial cells and investigate mechanism of ionizing radiation injury on vascular endothelial cells. Method: HUVE-12 cells was cultured in vitro and exposed to Co60 γ ray with 0、2、4、6、8、10、12Gy. The image of F-actin in HUVE-12 cells was observed with Confocal Laser Scanning Microscope at 6 hours after radiation. Results: radiation-induced depolymerization of F-actin microfilament stress fibres was dependent on radiation dose. Conclusion: radiation-induced depolymerization of F-actin microfilament stress fibres may be one of the mechanism of the radiation injury on vascular endothelial cells.
