Abstract: Twenty-seven pairs of microsatellite loci were applied to scan genomic DNA of Pseudobagrus fulvidraco in Dong Ping Lake, Shandong Province. Electrophoresis analysis showed that 19 pairs of primers reproducibly produced clear bands, and, of them 6 were polymorphic. There were totally 22 alleles of these microsatellite loci, and the number of alleles per locus ranged from 2 to 6. The average homozygosity, average polymorphism information content and average heterozygosity was 41.67 £¥, 0.488 and 0.5833, respectively. The results indicated that the population structure of Pseudobagrus fulvidraco in Dong Ping Lake was reasonable and the breed resource was still in a safe status.
