Abstract£ºIn order to study the characteristics of humoral immunity on E.tenella, specific vitelline antibody of E.tenella was prepared. The metabolic pattern of vitelline antibody in cecum was determined. With the internal and external restraining and killing experiment of E.tenella, effects of specific high immunized vitelline antibody on E.tenella were examined. The results showed: (1) The vitelline antibody in alimentary tract is steady. (2) Anticoccidial index£¨ACI£©increased by 73.50, rate of weight increased by 39.19 %, mortality decreased by 33.4 % in chickens inoculated with E. tenella by administering vitelline antibody. (3) Vitelline antibody has significant dissolving and weakening effect on sparozoite, but it has no effect on the speed of sporation of E. tenella, and pathogenicity of sporulated oocysts.
