SEM Specimen Preparation Techniques of Two Species' Pollens in Impatiens L.

Abstract: In the present study, the pollens of Impatiens rubro-striata Hook F and I. longicornuta Y L Chen have been prepared for four specimen preparation technique, namely herbarium pollen, dry herbarium pollen, FAA restitute herbarium pollen and FAA soak fresh pollen. The results showed that the specimen preparation technique of using FAA for herbarium pollen or fresh pollen was ideal.
