Abstract£ºIn this experiment£¬Shanxi white pigs were used to study the effect of H-FABP gene on intramuscular fat content£¨IMF%£©. The m. logissimus over the second to fifth vetebra lumbalis were taken out for intramuscular fat content measurement by Soxhlet¡¯method. Based on H-FABP genetic variation detection£¬the associations between three PCR-RFLP sites and intramuscular fat content£¨IMF%£©were analyzed by GLM. Results showed that the LSM values of genotype hh£¬dd and BB of PCR-RFLPs sites were the highest and they had the topmost effect. We suggest that porcine H-FABP gene is worthy of being further studied as candidate gene having effects on IMF%.
