When you click on the "Submit" button, the data will be saved into the database, in the same time, HealthWatch will perform calculations on the data and create a report for the results. Use navigate buttons to move records, button ">>" goes to the last record, ">" moves to the next record, "<" back to the previous record, and "<<" goes to the first record.
Report
HealthWatch report has four sections: Personal information, Test date, Data and Results, and Notes. In the "Data and Results" section, calculated results include:
Growth percentiles: These data are calculated using "Percentile Data Files with LMS Values" from CDC. The same data sets have been used to produce the United States Growth Charts by CDC.
Blood pressure percentiles for children (under 17): Based on "Blood Pressure Tables for Children and Adolescents" from National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.
10-year risk of having a heart attack: calculated using a point system as described in the Third Report of the National Cholesterol Education Program (NCEP) Expert Panel on Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of High Blood Cholesterol in Adults (Adult Treatment Panel III).
The "Notes" section of the HealthWatch report evaluates underweight and overweight based on BMI. HealthWatch highlight "Obese" in red, "Underweight" and "Overweight" in orange, and "Normal" in green. HealthWatch also shows the all criteria proposed by ATP III for identifying metabolic syndrome in this section, and highlight the criteria the current record met in orange. According to the ATP III criteria, the metabolic syndrome is identified by the presence of three or more of these components.
