Design and Preparation of the Filter for Photonrejuvenation

Abstract: The characteristic of optical filter applied to intense pulsed light photonrejuvenation is analyzed, designing the filter with analytic and automatic optimizing method which consists of simplex and simulated annealing algorithm. The Monte Carlo method is adopted to assess the sensitivity of the filter to errors. The design result is excellent. Ion beam sputtering technique is used to prepare the filter, which is controlled by a time-power monitoring method. From the test spectrum we can see that, the average transmittance of pass band is higher than 95% and of stop band is lower than 0.5%. All parameters meet the specification.
