Abstract:The polymorphism of H-FABP gene in Shanxi White pig,Mashen pig,Large White pig,Landrace and Duroc was analyzed by PCR-SSCP. The results indicated that one polymorphic site was discovered in the first intron of porcine H-FABP gene. It had two alleles, designated A and B. Frequency of BB genotype was the highest, and frequency of B allele was obviously higher than frequency of A allele in mashen pig. Frequency of AA genotype was the highest in other breeds. Sequence analysis revealed that this site was generated because of C→T transition.
